About me

Beyond the job title.

Outside work I'm usually doing one of three things: wiring something up, thinking about a film I haven't had time to watch, or cooking.

• Setting up devices and systems

  I enjoy making things work together: the home network, a new gadget, the right cable in the right place. It's the same instinct that took me into broadcast engineering, just with lower stakes.

• Cinema

  I used to watch everything. With two little kids, movie nights are rarer now, so the ones I get, I choose carefully.

• Paella

  Cooking it and eating it, in that order. A good paella is a weekend project and the best excuse to get people around the table.
