Close all your tabs
You know what is the best productivity advice that I've applied lately?
"Close all your tabs"
All your tabs. No "organize them in groups", no "leave some for the future in another window". No. All tabs and apps closed.
Start fresh with only the window you'll be working on. If I'm writing a project, the Google Docs tab, or your preffererd text app. If I'm drawing a diagram, mi Miro tab. If I'm doing emails, my beloved Gmail window. I hope you don't do emails first thing in the morning.
¿What allow this to do? Do one thing only. When I focus in one task only it just come aut way better. If I complet three focused tasks in a day, I'm more productive and more usuful for my company that if I do 10 things not that good.
And if you think you can multitask, please think again. Seems that most of us can't do more than one think at the same time.

If you want to test this it will only take a minute to set up:
- Choose your more important task
- Close all your tabs and apps (specially Slack or Teams!)
- Mute your phone and put it away (turn it off if you feeling spicy today)- Open the needed tab or app (just this one!)
- Work on it freely. Without checking the lunch menu that your colleague sends, without thinking about your boss' report, o guess what other people's priorities.
You'll work for some minutes maybe. Maybe you'll complete the tasks. Most likely you will work on it with less stress and more in depth.
Are you gonna try? Please let me know how it goes!
